The great thing about taking photographs is that sometimes you get an image (or series of them) that you weren't expecting to.

Nikki, a sculptor

Sometimes I get asked, by friends of friends, to take pictures.  It's not a big deal, I usually get some kind of expenses and it's all training, so I often say yes.  Most are normal enough - family portraits, covering a christening, etc - but some, like this one, are lovely.

Nikki is a local sculptor and for an exhibition she's got coming up (and if you live in Leicestershire, keep your eye on the museum for April) she wanted an 'original' artists photo.  I met her at her place, we talked, she suggested nudity, I suggested trying it outside.  And this is the result (actually, witness the bathrobe at the edge of frame, this is an out-take).
