I just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who's popped along to this blog over the past year and more, who's commented or bought my writing or sent me pictures of their lady fiends - thank you and 'Happy New Year'!

Christina & I will be out tonight, I expect drinking, dancing and debauchery!  I hope that whatever you're doing, you have a great time and I look forward to posting more adventures in 2014!

Christina's Christmas Do

My firm didn't do anything this year - not that I particularly wanted to go anywhere with my managers - so I went for a meal with my colleagues and we had a good time.  Christina's place, on the other hand, really pushed the boat out and we had a cracking time.

They took over a ballroom in a hotel near the centre of town, a subsidised bar, great food and a brilliant disco.  We had a great time, dancing harder than we had in Barcelona though there wasn't a chance to get away with anything much more than a fumble.

On the other hand, there was some cracking totty there (other companies had rented out other rooms) and I managed to photograph a few of them, just for you dear reader.

Christina erotica

I've been thinking a lot about abstract work recently - bodyscapes and that kind of thing - and the idea of a faceless piece of erotica.  These were taken expressly for that - I'm not that smart - but these are out-takes of Christina that fit the bill perfectly.

It does, of course, help that she's so fucking gorgeous!

June - shoot for a friend

I got to know June through the Photography Group - she often helps out Andy (the group leader) with booking the girls and the studio space, making sure everyone's comfortable, just keeping the wheels greased.

We've been talking for a while about her ambitions - she doesn't want to be a photographer but would like to do some behind-the-scenes work.  I told her that she looked gorgeous and should be in front of the camera and that led to several months of banter - she said she wasn't, I maintained she was.

To end it all, I suggested I give her an early Christmas present and take a set with her, at her pace and only with poses she felt comfortable with.  And this is it.  We shot it at her flat, her partner watched and offered advice (and made lovely tea) and it was one of the best half-hour shoots I've ever experienced.
